Prevention starts with the appearance of the first tooth: applying the level of care will give your childrens' teeth and gums a lifespan of good health. Your children will thank you for it.

Dental caries or tooth decay is caused by a combination of food leftovers and bacteria within dental plaque. Sugar and other carbohydrates from food and beverages provide nurture for the growth of these microorganisms. Their metabolism produces acids, which destroy the dental enamel.
To prevent this from happening, we gladly advise you regarding preventative strategies such as - individual dental hygiene recommendations and implementation aids
- dietary recommendations to help avoiding dental caries

Research has shown that fluoride achieves caries prevention firstly and foremostly by direct contact with dental enamel.
The German Society for Dentistry and Orthodontics has published a list of recommendations for fluoridation. We are pleased to advise you on the recommended doses of fluoride. We also provide advice on possibilities of preventative dental treatment using fluoride coating and fluoride gels for high risk cases.

We recommend your child to see a dentist for the first time at an age of 2 to 3 years.
Please find further information on the subject on the "first teeth page" at www.milchzahnseite.de.
